Purpose
This is a personal project that I came up with as a way to improve my UI design skills. The context of the website is that there is a community litter clean up initiative and the community needs a way to keep track of who is attending, as well as a way to direct people to different locations and times.

Considerations
My goal with the visual design of the interface was to support functionality, while still being attractive. I found that this involved focusing on visual hierarchy from sizing, to space, to color. It was a delicate line between demonstrating difference of tools and the importance of those tools, while also trying to keep the design simple and uncomplicated.
Next Steps
The next thing I want to explore with this project is motion design. Motion design has a huge impact on the user experience of a digital product, and when done well, can add depth and texture to a design in a subtle unobtrusive manner.
